Ok, here is what I am seeing and feeling here.

Appreciation. Gratitude. Grateful for everything, all of it. Thankful for the Contrast, the duality of this Life. The Dark and the Light. Those fond memories with the 6 of Cups. The nostalgia, the inner child themes that we all have inside of us. Then disillusion around those themes that sometimes show up, illuminated here with the Moon card. The reminder that yes, shit happens! We all have has some kind of hurt, trauma (big T and little T, it doesn't matter, it's not a competition) growing up and in this experience of living Life.

Don't forget that in the Light of the Moon is where we get to see those darker places that we don't want to see sometimes. Those spaces within us or others, the Collective, that are not comfortable to witness or even Accept. Here is where we get to soothe the hurts of the past with the Hopes and Dreams of the present and the Trust and Faith that the future can be Bright, if we let it!

The Moon card in the Tarot has always brought to me a sense of a culmination of energies, a build up, to then have the ability to be released, with that Big, Bright, Light that shines down in the night sky, that allows us to see in the Dark!

The Love that is here with the Water (Cups) element, is asking you to see the best in whatever this is for you. See the healing that is possible when you come from a place of Love and Kindness towards those hurts of the past, those who possibly hurt you and the fact that now you can also Love those things and that inner child so much, allowing for you now, the more mature, less emotional or child-like version of yourself, the one that didn't have the knowledge and the Wisdom that you have today to help you with those feelings of 'It must be something I did.." "it's my fault...", or " I'm not lovable, so that means that I shouldn't even be here, I shouldn't even exist...I don't belong here, I don't feel like I fit in...because I'm not good enough..(fill in the blanks). Your adult self, the protector, the nurturer of that little you, can now call the shots, to eliminate the cycle(s) of those conditioned patterns, the triggers from the past that continue to drive the car, steer the car, be in the driver's seat..(you get the picture) of your life.

Back to the Appreciation card, the woman is holding a single flower and she is surrounded by bramble bushes. She is choosing to focus on the blossoming flower instead of how she could get caught up in the prickly branches of difficulty.

Congratulate yourself for every time you choose Appreciation because this decision alone can change or shift your Consciousness from lack to value and is guaranteed to bring more worth and value into your life!

Six of water: nostalgia, sweet memories, old flames, yearning for the security of the good old days

If I am being triggered to remember the past, I can enjoy the warm memories, but must recognize they are ephemeral. Emotion can colour my recall and distort my understanding of what is happening today. I acknowledge and heal old wounds. I can experience security today, enveloped in the arms of Divine Love. There is no need to return to the illusion of a golden era of yore because I can begin co-creating a better reality now. Authentic healing and joyfulness will be mine if I stop rekindling the emotions of the past.

The Moon: illusion

I may not see the workings of Spirit in the invisible realms, but I know there is great activity "behind-the-scenes." It's important to trust the mystery, and remember that the material realm is an illusion. Current conditions are not necessarily a reflection of the truth of what's really going on in the present. Great opportunities lie in the shadows, awaiting the perfect time for illumination.
