Winter Solstice

I woke up this morning at the exact time of the Winter Solstice, coincidence? Well, maybe…my puppy had to go out for her morning biz so you could say that’s the reason, but for me there is a deeper knowing that it was one of those Divine Timing moments.
I was outside, in Nature, amongst the Trees, under the big dark sky, in the stillness, that void between the dark and the light. My feet on the ground, rooted to the Earth, inhaling the cool, crisp air so deeply into my lungs.
I felt Connection. Something greater than myself. A deep Knowing. It was palpable.
Now I don’t have Standing Stones or a Stone Circle, but I do have little spots all over my property where there are crystals buried and where I have poured Moon Water into the soil through Water Rituals and put Ashes into the ground from Fire Rituals, releasing and transmuting energies of the things that are no longer serving me. Also, it’s a way of giving back to the Land, thanking her, honouring the Goddess Mother GAIA.🌎✨
The Land itself is very Sacred.
And guess what!? We are all Sacred! Souls, beings of Light, all Connected, and whether you know it or not, you came here at this time to work your Light and shine it BRIGHT! Be seen, heard, no longer playing small, accepting the fact that you are a Creator, a Co-Creator with the Divine, Spirit, Source, (whatever resonates for you) of your reality!! You really can make your dreams come true!!
Maybe it’s my Sun and Rising signs both being in the Earth sign of Taurus (I was born right at Sunrise🌅 ) in moments like these I feel like everything is so Right In The World. 🌎 ✨💕
I don’t pretend that there are things happening out there that aren’t great, but I insist on the belief that where there is Light, the darkness can be seen, to then be healed. We must accept the darkness before it can be transmuted back into Light✨👐✨
I read somewhere, or maybe heard it on something I was listening to about Astrology and about it is referred to as an Ancient Technology. It is a Map of your Soul for this Incarnation. The snapshot of the Sky when you Spark, your essence, your Light entered this Lifetime. It said something along the lines that Solstices and Equinoxes, Eclipses, New Moons and Full Moons, North and South Nodes, your natal planets etc. are actually “sign posts” that you left for yourself before your Soul started out on this journey, here in this incarnation, in this body, this physical container for your Light. These “sign posts” are Portals, energetically charged points along your path to remind you of where you are heading, to show you where you have been, to shine a Light on where you are now, in this particular moment, and to help you to continue to shift and grow, move or stay still, hold on or let go.
Sign posts..isn’t that so cool!!
I was like “Yassss!!” That’s it, that makes so much sense to me. That’s why I feel like as I have been opening up to more of my Healing gifts, Astrology just keeps presenting more and more and I could just keep eating it up!
So I did a reading for the Winter Solstice.
It is a General Energy reading for the Collective. Remember to take what resonates and leave behind what doesn’t.
✨ARIANRHOD✨

✨IMAGINATION✨
from the Angels of Light cards

✨WEAVER OF BOONS✨
✨ KEEPER OF VISIONS ✨
&
✨SEEKER OF SPELLS✨
from the Forest of Enchantment Tarot

This seems bang on for the energies of the Solstice. This is a very Earth-y feeling time so being guided to use the Forest of Enchantment Tarot deck, feels appropriate.
I love that the Goddess Arianrhod is here. She is considered the “high fruitful mother who turns the wheel of the heavens..” she is a “Moon Goddess that has a special love, concern, and responsibility for all life, especially for the green growing things of the Earth.” She is the “Keeper of time, giver and nurturer of life and she shows us the universally and cyclicity of our lives; she is there to nurture us through the dark night of our Soul changes.”
Ok..you can’t make this stuff up!
The next card is IMAGINATION.
It speaks to the fact that “thoughts are the building bricks of life..” everything begins with a thought and when you add creativity to your thoughts, you have IMAGINATION..”
The Angels are encouraging you to use the power of your creative imagination…to expand your horizons and picture the life that you want..
By holding that Vision, the Angel see the clarity of your intention and open doors to help you!!
Imagine your dreams and start the process of Creation!!
The affirmation on the card is:
I picture positive outcomes for the highest good.
Next, there is the Feminine and Masculine energies here. I see it as a Mother, Father and a child, possibly a child that has grown. The fish represents how you must go with the flow of life. We have Witches in the other cards. It feels like Magic, Alchemy, the ability to work with the elements.
I love the representations of the Traditional Tarot in this deck. It tosses out the royal court cards and the hierarchy and renames the cards as Child, Seeker, Weaver and Keeper. (instead of Page, Knight, Queen and King)
Wands /Spells-FIRE, action, will, confidence, transformation, courage, charisma
Cups/Visions-WATER, emotion, desire, love, spiritual understanding, intuition, dreams
Swords /Challenges-AIR, conflict, strategy, intelligence, mental agility, survival
Pentacles/Boons-EARTH, practical matters, prosperity, protection, healing, general well-being
Below is the description of the cards
The Weaver of Boons: (Queen of Pentacles)
Earthy, a merry natured person with a generous heart-grounded, practical and protective of family and community
This Witches magic is earth-centered, she is a preserver, nurturer and a healer that is feeding both the body and the spirit with a kind of Motherly love. This card in reading can mean you could use a dose of practicality or could indicate a need for care and nurturing or possibly a windfall.
Keeper of Visions: (King of Cups)
Contemplative rather than active. Calm. Wise, compassionate and not easily flustered. Charitable, emotionally stable and faithful in love.
This fish is the representation of the energies of the Keeper by the shape shifting wizard, choosing to embody the ancient salmon wisdom. It is said that the salmon is the oldest of all creatures and has memories reaching back to the beginning of the World (whoa, mind blown) In fish form he can detach from his emotions with compassion because on land his mind and heart can overflow into grief at the World’s cruelty. He chooses to observe from a distance. He asks you to “Look below the surface” and seek him out if you have questions about mystical matters. This card is saying that you may need to withdraw from emotional turmoil to seek peace. The situation may benefit from meditation.
Seeker of Spells: (Knight of Wands)
Bold, spirited, dramatic. Loves an adventure. Fearless, passionate in her pursuits.
This Witch has no fear of the dark, nocturnal forest, the danger of it all makes her quest more thrilling! She wouldn’t dare to not go into the forest at night to run the risk of missing the moment or to stand losing the magic. Playing it safe is for those with no witch blood in their veins.
If this doesn’t represent a person in your life it may be time to pursue creative pursuits and to trust your instincts, especially in terms of timing. You could break through a stale routine, or travel somewhere, spontaneously, without a great deal of planning!
Ok, well there you have it.
I hope that you can take time today to honour the Earth, the Solstice, yourself, and where you are now, how far you have come and where you are headed. Be proud of all of it! Remember to keep looking for the “sign posts”
Happy Winter Solstice Blessings,
