Pure Vibroacoustic Therapy (Pure VAT) is a powerful modality that stimulates the relaxation response which promotes healing to take place. Pure VAT is based in the principle that all matter, including the human body, vibrates all the time and at various frequencies. Sound and music also vary in frequency; when the low-frequencies of sound are converted to vibration, which is then introduced to the human body, it can be utilized to bring the body into a state of healthy resonance. Frequency Protocols are in place for several different conditions from chronic pain, osteoarthritis, insomnia, anxiety and depression to faster healing time from surgery and injury, helping people with neurological disorders, stimulating blood flow, reducing blood pressure, improving range of motion, easing low back pain, neck and shoulder pain and reducing stress-inducing hormones to name just a few. All protocols are based in science and the research done by the founder of Vibroacoustic Therapy, Olav Skille and by Kate Kunkel, who created the VAT certification course. Pure VAT has a ton of medical research preformed that is well documented. Expect more information and research as this Sound Healing modality becomes more accessible. Some things to consider because there are some precautions ~ It is recommended that you do not participate in a Vibroacoustic Sound bed session if: -you are pregnant (at any stage) -you have had a recent surgery or a recent broken bone -you have blood clots or venous clips -you have epilepsy or are prone to seizures -you have experienced a recent psychotic episode -you have an implantable device in your body such as a pacemaker, coronary shunt, stents, artificial heart valve, glucose monitor There will be an intake portion to this service where we will discuss your current needs, fill out a form together and you must sign a waiver. *Frequency protocols are 20-23 minutes in duration and usually done in succession, depending on the condition and the individual. Clients do report feeling better after the first session. **prices will vary ~ at least 3 session are recommended to start, the results are cumulative and best done in succession. A Vibroacoustic portable unit (the VTS 2000) can be made available to rent for home use.
